The Project Valued at $2 million will see Avanceon Strengthen OT Cyber Resilience with Advanced Solutions and Industry Expertise
Middle East Region – Avanceon has been entrusted by a prominent Middle Eastern utility company to bolster OT cybersecurity for its knowledge management network. This strategic partnership underscores Avanceon’s expertise in delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions tailored to industrial environments.
The solution will be deployed on more than 50 sites and will enhance the capability to discover assets and granular control of inter/intra site communications. The solution will enable the customer to follow the zone and conduit models as specified by IEC62443 standard for IACS Cyber Security. The customer will also be able to centrally monitor all security incidents and events.
The deployment follows a detailed gap analysis and risk assessment conducted by Avanceon, ensuring the solution meets the stringent requirements of OT environments. Unlike traditional IT setups, OT systems demand unique considerations, such as heightened Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), industrial protocols and stringent availability requirements to maintain seamless operations.
