Avanceon set to provide a State-of-the-Art Building Management System as part of the initiative by the Abu Dhabi Ports to boost capacity and ramp up operations
Dubai, UAE – Avanceon FZE, a subsidiary of Avanceon Limited, has been contracted to provide a comprehensive Building Management System for the Khalifa Port Expansion. The Building Management System to be provided by Avanceon will include CCTV, PAVA, and Access Control Systems for the Data Center at Khalifa Port.
Opened in 2012 with the cost of $7 Billion USD, the Khalifa Port is strategically located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It is the first semi-automated deep-water port in the GCC region with the capacity to service 2.5 Million TEUs annually. With the new series of expansion projects, the Abu Dhabi Ports aim to ramp up operations to 5 Million TEUs by the end of 2020.
The project valued at 5 Million AED plus is currently underway and Avanceon expects to complete it within the agreed timeline.
