Avanceon bags a multimillion-dollar contract for the provision of state-of-the-art Command & Control Centre for one of the largest Government Authorities in GCC

Middle East – Avanceon has been awarded the contract for the provision of state-of-the-art Command & Control Center (Facility Management System) to manage port operations for one of the largest Government Authorities in the GCC. The contract is a part of the Government’s efforts in digitalizing her public and government-run organizations.

This Facility Management System (FMS) SCADA will integrate various subsystems running in the facility into a single-touch-point application. FMS will provide real-time monitoring and supervisory control for port operations to Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams. The data collected from FMS will be used to generate reports and dashboards highlighting various areas for improvements and provide a summary report of port operations for top management. The integrated FMS will set the foundation for continuous operational excellence and a real-time decision support system (DSS) for the port facility.

Avanceon will be collaborating with one of the leading Industrial Software Solutions providing firms in the world to execute this project. Project’s scope of work includes:

1. Supply, Installation, configuration, testing & commissioning of Facility Management System
2. Supply and programming of the integrated design for both hardware and software components
3. Integration with all subsystems (e.g. Vehicle Monitoring System, Fuel Management System, Building Management System, Fire Alarm System, etc.)
4. Development of Interface kits, graphics, dashboards, trends, database, etc. as per functional design specifications
5. Implementation of control matrix as specified in FMS design specification
6. Operational & maintenance trainings

The Facility Management System will ensure compliance to Cybersecurity guidelines and standards in overall network design.

The mega project is expected to conclude by the end of 2021.
